I bought the APRS Voyager with the GPS puck/cable. I got it and downloaded the configuration application for windows, then plugged only a USB micro cable into it (no power needed) and started configuring it. I had it configured with my callsign, frequency, and all the other needed parameters within 10 minutes. I was on the air in 10 minutes where I could check with aprs.fi and see myself on the map with a callsign-13 (because I want to make it a weather station eventually). Then I connected via Bluetooth using APRSdroid and used it with my callsign-7 as if it was an HT. I'm impressed with this unit. Next I will try using it as a digipeater and maybe an igate. But what I really want to do is use it for VHF Packet Winlink from my laptop over Bluetooth using the KISS modem onboard the Voyager.
I am getting back to hard work after summer break. Sales are open again!
